Make A Difference

How Can I Make An Impact?

While we have made strides in meeting the needs of struggling readers in the Houston area, we are driven by our passion for children and the strong moral obligation to meet the needs of our community. We are proud to announce that over the past three years, we have increased the students served in our Reading Intervention program by an incredible 176%!

Despite this growth, we are currently serving less than 23% of the HISD and Aldine ISD students who desperately need our program. Additional support for all our programs is needed and we appreciate any and all support.  See below how you can make an impact TODAY!

Story Swap Libraries

Did you know that 1 book is available for every 300 children living in low-income homes?

You can help alleviate this problem by getting books into the hands of children who need them the most. We have identified numerous locations throughout Houston where children are really in need of access to great books. The Story Swap project offers many ways for you or your group to get involved.

Group Storytime

Do your employees, service organization, or friends enjoy serving together? If so, take advantage of this great opportunity to impact the students Literacy Now serves.

Group Storytime is a great team building opportunity that provides 48 or 64 of our Reading Intervention program students (K - 2nd grade) with a fun way to improve their literacy skills.
