Make A Difference
How Can I Help?
All of the programs at Literacy Now are offered at no cost to the children. We are totally dependent on the gracious contributions of individuals, churches and corporations, as well as grant funds to provide all of our program needs. We realize how many incredible organizations and great causes there are in the Houston area alone and hope that you will choose to support the children served by Literacy Now.
With Members Give, giving has never been so easy. Members Give Online allows you to make a donation using your American Express® Card or, if you are enrolled in the Membership Rewards® program, you can redeem your points for a donation.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Literacy Now. Volunteers are needed to help support the success of children now more than ever. The COVID-19 pandemic brought the issue of limited access to multiple things – laptops or tablets, high-speed internet, high-quality affordable childcare, books at home, excellent health care– all creating educational inequities. The good news is there is an opportunity to invest in children facing these inequities! We have multiple ways you can make a difference by sharing your time and talents, and we would love to have you join our amazing team of volunteers!
