Please help us welcome our new Volunteer Coordinator, Aspen Hayes. Aspen received her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Memphis. After interning at KTRK-TV in the Community Affairs Department, she realized how much she enjoyed serving and working with the community. She also serves at Hope City Church as a greeter and enjoys volunteering at the Houston Food Bank during her free time. Aspen believes that helping others is good for our mental health and emotional well-being, and she is excited to join Literacy Now.
