Our programs are in FULL swing, and we are very excited to get to know the children and parents we will be serving this year!
Last week, I had the opportunity to kick off the training session for twelve of our amazing Lunch Bunch mentors. Spending time with them, responding to their questions, and seeing the eager expressions on their faces made my heart so happy. This group of volunteers, along with our staff, and other volunteers are ready to pour into our kiddos and their families!
Even after almost 17 years, there are still times I’m overwhelmed by the need in our city, but then I’m reminded of the incredible people – staff and volunteers – who are making a difference each day as they lovingly instruct and guide those we are privileged to serve.
