Please describe what you enjoy most about volunteering for Literacy Now.
I have been volunteering for Literacy Now since the beginning (Making It Better) and have volunteered in several areas — from family night at the apartments, to helping Reading Interventionists, to organizing the library, to delivering supplies and now with administrative / accounting support. I am more of a “behind the scenes” volunteer and even though I don’t have regular contact with the children and families we are serving, it gives me great satisfaction knowing I am helping in some manner. I love what Literacy Now represents and how successful they are in bringing literacy to these children and their families.
