Literacy Now Was On The Case

Literacy Now recently hosted its first Family Literacy Night of the year at Belmont Place Apartments.  This mystery-themed event had sleuths of all ages looking for literacy clues and having fun while learning at numerous literacy-based activity stations.  Seventy children and adults attended the event where all the children received books to take home where they can start or continue to build their home libraries. Thank you to all who helped make the event successful including volunteers and our partners from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, HEB, Harris County Public Library, iWrite, The Kinkaid School, and the Literacy Now  Guild.
