Well, the results are in and what an incredible year we had!!
- On average, our Reading Intervention students saw incredible gains of 250% and more between their pre and post program assessments.
- We’ve hit a 176% increase in the number of Reading Intervention students served over the last three years.
- 100% of parents whose children participate in our Reading Intervention and Reading Express programs report they were equipped to help build their child’s literacy skills development at home.
- 94% of our staff responded with “strongly agree” or “agree” to a 30 question anonymous survey about their feelings toward their work, supervisors, and organizational culture.
The above are just a few of the highlights from another amazing year! THANK YOU for making our work possible!
I am bursting with pride at the way our staff, despite the challenges of growth, continue to do all things with excellence while supporting and loving the children and families we serve and one another. Tears are filling my eyes as I type these words because it’s just truly incredible the way our staff and volunteers come together to do whatever it takes to serve our precious kiddos.
Yes, it’s summer. But no, we are not off…we are hard at work planning for next year to take our kids and Literacy Now even higher and farther. I hope to be able to give you a sneak peek at some of those plans next month…stay tuned.
