Sebrina graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor of science degree in Biology and a master of arts degree in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. She then taught Science and Biology at both middle and high school level in Aldine, Alief, Houston, and Waco ISDs. Sebrina also served as the lead counselor in Aldine ISD at both Grantham Academy and Mead Middle school. She retired from Aldine ISD in 2023 after having spent 30 years in education. I believe that early literacy is very important and being able to impact lives and inspire children to reach their greatest potential is my number one goal.
