Monsterville Horton IV, CWE, was introduced and began to learn about the vast world of wine at a young age, growing up in the San Francisco Bay area. This childhood intrigue has developed into a passionate career allowing him to live, visit, and study in every major wine region of the world and has cultivated his palate into one of the most sophisticated in the industry.
Monsterville has earned the distinction as one of only 135 Certified Wine Educators in the world and has also received a D.E.L.E. Diploma in Spanish from the University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain. His resume includes sommelier, wine consultant, wine educator, wine buyer and judge. His efforts in the industry over the past sixteen years have been noticed nationally in The Wall Street Journal, Food & Wine, Wine & Spirits, and Gourmet magazines as well as locally on ABC, Fox and NBC and in Texas Monthly.
