Kendal received her Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with specializations in Reading and Health Education from the Honors College at the University of Houston, where she also received her master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision. She served Houston ISD for 29 years in various roles, including language arts teacher and school librarian, before retiring as a school principal in 2024. Kendal has a passion for helping struggling readers and is excited to continue having a positive impact on students’ lives.
