Denise received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish with a minor in Linguistics from Georgetown University. After graduating, she began teaching Spanish in Washington, DC while simultaneously earning a Master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont. Denise has a strong background in second language acquisition. She initially joined us in 2023 and, after a brief pause, has returned to Literacy Now and is excited to help children become confident readers.
