Dear Friends,
What a remarkable year it has been for Literacy Now. Together, we formed new partnerships, strengthened long-standing relationships, and most importantly, witnessed the life-changing impact literacy can have on children. More than 800 children in our Reading Intervention program not only strengthened their reading skills, but also grew in confidence, self-esteem, and belief in their own potential. On board the Reading Express, our youngest readers and their parents shared countless moments of learning, connection, encouragement, and joy. These experiences remind us that literacy is far more than reading words on a page — it is about opening doors, building confidence, and creating brighter futures for children and families.
None of this would be possible without our incredible staff. Their servant hearts, tireless dedication, and unwavering commitment to the children we serve inspire us every day. Our end-of-year employee survey said it best — 100% of our team shared that they are proud to work for Literacy Now and inspired by the work they do. That speaks volumes about the culture, mission, and purpose that drives this organization forward.
We are also grateful for a strong fundraising year, which positions us to further expand our Reading Intervention reach. While we are still finalizing partner campuses, we are excited to anticipate serving 25% more students next year, a tremendous step toward ensuring that every struggling reader has the support they deserve!
And at the heart, of all these accomplishments is YOU. Your generosity, your belief in our mission, your willingness to stand with children who need a champion, these are the forces that make everything possible. Whether you give, volunteer, advocate, or partner with us, your compassion and commitment are changing lives every single day.
Thank you for walking alongside us and for helping children discover the power and promise of literacy.
