Empowering Dreams Through Giving

Thank you to the Missouri City–Sugar Land Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. for their incredible generosity and support of Literacy Now and empowering kids to read!   Through their recent Beautillion Ball, we were awarded $25,000 to support struggling readers throughout Houston. Additionally, they built and installed six (6) Story Swap Libraries so that children can have easy and free access to books.

Thank you for your meaningful investment in our mission. Your commitment to uplifting young men, families, and our broader community is deeply appreciated.

Young Professionals Give Back

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Young Professionals Group Serve Day at the Children’s Museum Houston!  Our YPs rolled up their sleeves to prepare materials for various exhibits and engaged children in hands-on activities highlighting different cultures and traditions in the Faithful Friends exhibit. It was a meaningful day of service and connection, made special by everyone who participated.

Season of Giving

Thanks to Laura Butler and our wonderful partners at Freudenberg Flow Technologies, Ilene Eckert and her dedicated “mom group,” staff, and board members, we were thrilled to bring Christmas cheer to three of our Reading Intervention students and their families.

These moments truly embody the spirit of our mission and the compassion that drives our work. We are incredibly thankful for the joy we could share this holiday season.
