In early October, fifty employees of Freudenberg Oil & Gas Technologies volunteered their time to help create a better working and learning space for our Steps 2 Success site at Belmont Place Apartments. One hundred and eighteen hours were donated over the course of a two day period! Volunteers completed various projects which increased book storage room capacity in order to provide more books to HISD elementary students throughout the school year. They also helped prepare resources and activities to be given to kids and parents/guardians to improve their literacy rates. Last but not least, they created a more visually pleasing environment for our kids and parents/guardians to have an overall more enjoyable experience. We are extremely grateful for our partnership with this amazing and generous company and look forward to many more wonderful experiences with them in the future.
