April Newsletter 2025

Monthly Newsletters

Dear Friends,

April marks a bustling time at Literacy Now as we wrap up our programs for the year with final lessons and assessments, and the distributions of books and reading buddies.   While we are excited to measure and share the growth our scholars have made over twenty-five weeks of small group reading instruction, we feel sad to say goodbye.  A key aspect of the “Literacy Now Way” revolves around relationships, starting with our children and their families. It is truly a privilege to provide transformative programs, and we hope that everyone we serve leaves with enhanced knowledge and skills and becomes a better version of themselves.

None of this could have happened without YOUR support!

We sincerely thank our donors, board members, volunteers, community partners, and staff. A mere thank you seems insufficient given the tremendous dedication and effort you have put into supporting our struggling readers. Literacy Now is beyond grateful for the incredible impact you have had on the lives these children, their families, and our entire community.

We are fortunate to have passionate individuals like you who generously share your time, talent, and treasure, and for that, we appreciate your commitment.

For the Children,

Jacklyn Minimah-Wilson, M.Ed.
