Linda attended Grambling State University where she received a bachelor of science degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. She also attended Prairie View A&M where she received her master’s in education, specifically Education Administration. Linda started her teaching career in Shreveport, La at Atkins Elementary as a Kindergarten Teacher for 3 years. She moved to Houston and worked in Aldine ISD as a Kindergarten Teacher, Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, ECSE Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal. Linda retired in June 2023 with 31 years. Linda is also a proud Veteran and spent 20 years in the Texas and Mississippi Air National Guard.
