October marks an exciting time at Literacy Now as we kick off our programs for the children and families we are honored to support. After months of dedicated planning and preparation, we are thrilled to return to schools and engange the community, working together to empower kids to read.
I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributes to our mission. Our donors, partners, board, volunteers, and staff all come together as one to provide critical services, literacy resources, and books to the children who need them most. I am continually inspired by the compassion and commitment of those who support Literacy Now, and I am truly humbled by your efforts to create a positive impact in a child’s life of.
Our data indicates an anticipated average increase of 90% in reading skills, but what it doesn’t doesn’t show is the amazing boost in a child’s confidence and self-esteem that we witness every day. I look forward to witnessing our scholars’ growth and to share their gains with you throughout the school year
